This mountain resort community is located 100 miles east of Sacramento, California, and 60 miles southwest of Reno, Nevada, at approximately 6,200 foot altitude in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. As the nursing shortage is sweeping across the country, Barton Memorial Hospital is preparing for the future with several Nursing Programs and events for potential nursing staff and for Graduate Registered Nurses.
