Barton HealthCare System has partnered with Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute to provide the "Barton Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship Program." The fellowship is focused on the orthopedic surgery subspecialty fields of sports medicine and trauma. The program is used to give physicians additional training in the field of Sports Medicine.
Patients from across the country may choose from 16 expert orthopedic surgeons. All of these surgeons are Board Certified, which means they have completed extensive specialty training in their area of expertise.
